Privacy Policy

Divergent Logic LLC (“Divergent Logic,” “Travel Double,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the Travel Double mobile application and related services.

Information we collect

Travel Double may collect or store:

• Your name and optional mobile phone number.
• Trip details, packing lists, reminders, travel preferences, and documents you choose to add or import.
• Pairing information when you connect a Traveler and Planner for a specific trip.
• Consent selections showing what a Traveler has chosen to share with a Planner.
• Notification, location-sharing, and accessibility preferences.
• Basic technical information needed to operate the app, protect it, and troubleshoot errors.

We do not require a traditional username or password. Where available, Apple device and iCloud technologies may provide the underlying identity and backup features.

How we use information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your trips, packing plans, reminders, and imported travel details.
• Support Traveler–Planner pairing and only the sharing choices approved by the Traveler.
• Send opted-in in-app and text-message notifications.
• Improve reliability, prevent misuse, and provide support.
• Process travel documents you choose to provide so you can review extracted details before relying on them.

Travel Double is not a travel agency, airline, emergency service, medical provider, or mental-health provider.

Traveler–Planner sharing

A Traveler controls what is shared with a Planner. A Traveler may choose to share all travel data or specific categories, including optional live-location sharing.

A Planner can access and update only the trip data the Traveler has explicitly consented to share for that pairing. The Traveler can end sharing by removing the Planner or completing the trip. The Traveler retains their complete trip record; a Planner retains only the data that was shared with them for reference or permitted trip duplication.

Location information

Location sharing is optional. Travel Double may use location information for personal timing guidance, such as airport and departure guidance. It is shared with a Planner only when the Traveler has enabled location sharing for that pairing.

Location choices may include sharing during selected travel windows, sharing while active, or asking each time. We do not use hidden, continuous location tracking. Travel Double is designed to avoid building a location-history trail unless we clearly disclose and obtain consent for a future feature that requires it.

Travel documents and email forwarding

You may add travel confirmations, tickets, reservations, or other documents. If document forwarding is enabled, both a paired Traveler and Planner may forward documents for a trip.

Documents are private by default. Travel Double may extract details such as dates, times, airlines, seats, ticket numbers, and confirmation numbers for your review. You remain responsible for confirming the details with the airline, hotel, rental company, or other provider.

Notifications and text messages

Text messaging is optional. If you choose to receive text messages, enter a phone number, and complete the applicable verification or consent flow, Travel Double may send service-related messages such as verification codes, trip reminders, and document-review notices.

Message frequency varies based on your selected reminders and trip activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel text messages or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

We will not include sensitive travel-document details, passwords, full payment-card data, or precise location details in ordinary text messages.

Mobile information, including text-message originator opt-in data and consent, will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may use service providers, such as Twilio, to deliver messages you have requested. Those providers may process your phone number only to provide that service and not for their own marketing.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

We may share limited information only:

• With your paired Planner or Traveler, according to the Traveler’s active consent choices.
• With service providers needed to operate requested services, such as Apple iCloud/CloudKit, Cloudflare, document-processing providers, or messaging providers.
• When required by law or necessary to protect users, our service, or the public.

Security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. We retain data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain legitimate records.

You may use available app controls to remove local trip data, revoke sharing, disable notifications, or remove your phone number. If cloud backup or sharing is enabled, deletion may also require Apple iCloud synchronization time.

Children

Travel Double is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the new effective date here.
