About Divergent Logic
Divergent Logic LLC is a software company that builds human-centered tools that turn complexity into clarity. Its software is shaped by neurodivergent-informed design, lived experience, and practical systems thinking — built for how real people actually think, get overwhelmed, remember tasks, and need support. Rather than just storing information, Divergent Logic software acts like an external support system that helps people remember, sequence, communicate, prepare, recover, and keep moving forward.
Why we exist
Most software assumes people are calm, organized, focused, and able to remember every step. Real life does not work that way. People get overwhelmed. Teams miss handoffs. Travelers forget details. Workers switch tasks constantly. Families manage transitions. Managers try to turn messy, invisible work into something clear and repeatable. Divergent Logic builds software for those moments — software that reduces the stress that comes from invisible cognitive demands.
What we build
Divergent Logic is an umbrella company for a family of tools. They look different on the surface but share one core idea: make complicated processes clearer, calmer, and easier to complete.
- My Travel Buddy — a neurodivergent-informed travel support app that lowers the cognitive load of planning, packing, and moving through a trip. A Planner builds the trip structure ahead of time; the Traveler follows it step by step, with guided packing, document tracking, reminders, sensory and overwhelm support, and recovery. Currently launching soon, with early access available.
- CrewRoute Pro — field operations software that keeps routes, status, handoffs, materials, and next steps visible, so crews and managers stop running the day from texts and memory. Live at crewroutepro.com.
Who it's for
On the personal side: individuals, families, caregivers, neurodivergent travelers, anxious travelers, students, and anyone who gets overwhelmed by travel, transitions, or too many details. On the operations side: field service teams, dispatchers, and operations managers in landscaping, agriculture, equipment service, contracting, property maintenance, municipal and public works, delivery and installation, snow removal, and field inspection.
How we design
- Neurodivergent-informed design. Built around how real people process information, get overwhelmed, and need support — which makes our tools better for everyone, not just some.
- Lived experience. These products come from real moments of friction — missed steps, hard transitions, invisible work. We build what we've needed ourselves.
- Practical systems thinking. Calm is engineered. We design systems that reduce cognitive demands: fewer things to remember, interpret, track, and juggle.
Our design promise
- We make the next step visible.
- We hold the details so people don't have to.
- We support recovery when plans break.
- We avoid unnecessary cognitive load.
- We use plain language and clear structure.
- We do not use shame as a motivator.
Words we use
- Cognitive load
- The total mental effort required to hold, process, sequence, and act on information. Divergent Logic builds software that reduces it.
- External support system
- Software that holds details, sequences steps, and prompts action so a person doesn't have to keep everything in their head.
- Body doubling
- Doing a task alongside another person — or a guiding tool — to stay focused and reduce avoidance. My Travel Buddy applies it to packing and travel prep.
- The Planner and the Traveler
- My Travel Buddy's two roles. The Planner builds the trip structure ahead of time; the Traveler follows it step by step during the trip.
- Neurodivergent-informed design
- Designing around how real people process information, get overwhelmed, and need support — which makes tools clearer and calmer for everyone.
